Provost's Spotlight
The Fall 2023 Provost's Spotlight honored Dr. Yuping Liu-Thompkins, Department of Marketing. Dr. Yuping Liu-Thompkins, a marketing expert, is the founder of ODU's Loyalty Science Lab. The Loyalty Lab, which has 1,200 followers worldwide, conducts scientific research on brand and customer loyalty and collaborates with local companies. Dr. Liu-Thompkins has received numerous awards for her work, including the Strome College of Business Research Award. She has also been a visiting professor at several prestigious universities around the world, where she has gained valuable insights and experience. Dr. Liu-Thompkins is passionate about teaching and connecting with students and the business community.
